UNTITLED (Little White Lies) 2019

an improvisational, site-specific, street performance. a large canvas drop cloth painted with Trump’s image lay on the floor, foot length containers full of white paint surrounded the drop cloth. dipping my feet in the white paint, representing Trump’s white lies, and using Butoh inspired movement, I covered the drop cloth with the white paint until his image no longer appeared, being covered by his own deceit. this piece is part I in a series and represents my protest against the 45th “president” and his administration.
